The problem with your sync process, is you left out the step to scanning on the receiver and then getting the receiver frequency on the transmitter by syncing it.

I'm wanting to send different stuff out my output on my vocals. 1 mic with say preset 1 sending left mono but if i switch to bank 2 I'll be right output. I'm wanting to have preset 1 as main vocal then preset go out to my looper. Like an A/B type setup. Struggling to pan it though?

So once it is set, how do you actually set the tempo? It appears it needs to be stepped on twice but what are the steps, 1/4 (quarter) notes?

Super easy! Just tap the button you assigned to be the tap tempo and tap it four times….now it will be sync’d to the tempo you want! :0)

Thank you!!!!! Anchor Man . . . nice touch. Any recommendations on getting a killer blues harmonica tone ("When the Levee Breaks"). I'd like to just use my regular vocal setup and the VE-22 to achieve this, instead of lugging a bullet mic and mic amp around.

Oh wow! Great question. I’d look into getting the EQ and Comp dialed in….then I’d look into the distortions onboard to add a splash of color to your sound. Pay close attention to the peaks and valleys of the distortion sound so they don’t get to sharp.

Curious, My voice is fair at best, I was considering stacking a few pedals to really be able to tweak the ton and pitch. Was considering the VE-22 with the TC Helicon Mic Mechanic (reverb, echo, pitch correction) and Possibly the TC Helicon Harmony (harmony, reverb, Tone) - is all this overkill? Also want the ability on choruses to have those harmonies backing vocals kick in.... Thoughts on the best setup? really want to adjust my voice to smooth it out and be able to add harmonies during certain sections of songs.....

Great question: I would find a pedal that combines as much of all of those desired features and effects as possible. You may want to look at the BOSS VE-500. It is a monster of a pedal with all of what you mentioned onboard. Plus the ability to add outside expression and switches to it really gives you a massive amount of control and options onboard.

Looking at the measurements, the ME-80 is a little bit bigger than the RC-505MKii...however the bag has enough room to fit it.

How do I set a VE-500 / FS6 to step through patches (up/down) using a FS6 Pedal ? PATCH +1 - Select the next effect patch number (+1). PATCH -1 - Select the previous effect patch number (-1).

Thank you for the video. By chance are you able to provide the gain/in out settings you used on both the ve 500 and the mixer along with if output in ve 500 was set to "mic" or "gain"? Sorry if thats too much info to ask..lol. Great video though !👍

Hey Harry!I will have to dig it out...I shot this forever ago (note the long COVID Quarantine haircut)...I will say this though...I've noticed that gain levels are going to fluctuate with different mics....mixers and more. I've had to boost on some gigs and cut back on others. Have you noticed this?

@@JustAlliance Actually there is a setting in the output menu that is a bit confusing - a toggle that indicates "gain" or "instrument". This switch greatly affects the output signal level. As the Boss is a pre-amp in itself I cant see why it should run into another pre-amp in the mixer. I would think the Boss is a line level output device. So assuming an instrument would be line level I have been running mine like that - "instrument" position not "gain"...and run mixer input level at line. The problem is that there are several combinations available between Boss outout settings and mixer input settings and any combo will work with tweaking. I'm just trying to make sure I get the correct starting point when setting up the intended output feature in setting for use with a standard mixer. 😀 Thanks !

I'd also say it depends on how you are using the EXP pedal. I'm a proponent of having your reverb and delay articulated by the EXP so you can shrink and expand the space your voice occupies.

@@JustAlliance Yes, I have tried both volume. But I have a pair of gaming headphone, LG Pro X2 Lightspeed. I found them pretty good and I hope it’s not the issue but perhaps the cable.

Question! my delay is set to seconds instead of notes. how do I change that?

Take the millisecond (subdivision) knob on the delay screen and turn it allllllll the way past the 900s……you will see it turn into sixteenths….eighth notes …etc. select the subdivision you want and you’re ready to go! Let me know how it goes!!

Hi Ken! If you want you want a bigger canvas to get your vocal effects onto….take a look at the BOSS VE-22 or the VE-500. Those are great options as well!

Of course! You would have to plug the receiver into the unit.....then to your board/mixer/pa/DI.....etc.
