Avoid the Abus Discus Lock. They are the easiest lock on the market to break into.

I bet you sold a lot of these since crooked joe opened the borders. Obama was the best for gun sales the gunshop owners say.

How the heck did the battery pack get damaged that badly AND the secondary lock not work? Definately sounds like someone tried to break in to the safe. Sounds like it held up well against the attack tho.

I think it was the owner just getting frustrated. There were no signs of force in my professional opinion

Yup, seems like every time we have a round of thunderstorms, we have at least one or two control boards burned out. I don't understand why installers around here don't take the time to ground these systems.

Rule for carbite cutting edges: Cut and never rub. As the moment it rubs the cutting edge is blunted.

Regarding the weiser lock. Get some vice grips. Pull the tail piece out and clamp the vice grips to the tail piece making the tail piece pulled out. Pick the lock to the correct position and remove the cylinder. No need to make a key

The electronic lock on my Liberty safe came with a user code and a master code. Both are re-settable by the user. Liberty will have no record of the new codes unless the user reports the new codes to Liberty. No need to to swap for a new electronic lock.
@daverotroff6873
@daverotroff6873 15 күн бұрын
My Liberty came equipped with a SG electronic lock. The manual tells how to change the user code if I wish and how to change the master reset code if I want. If I change the master rest code I then have the option to notify Liberty of the new master reset code or not. Not notifying Liberty of the master reset code takes them out of the loop if the cops come. I feel like most of this internet talk started with Liberty giving the some guy's safe code to the FBI. My understanding is the FBI had a search warrant. Without Liberty stepping in the FBI was going to open the safe one way or another. Being stubborn and forcing the FBI's hand doesn't make sense to me. The FBI was going to open the safe one way or another. By extreme force if needed. Why have the FBI destroy your safe and possibly damage some of the contents? I don't know. Maybe there is more to the story that I don't know about.

Hi Wayne, I appreciate your content. How do you price a job like this? Would it be your service charge and your hourly rate or do you have a flat rate? What if the job requured more modification of the existing door to work? Would you just bill for the time?

It is not a good idea to load from the bottom because most people will use the master key to open these up rather than another key. The master key should have the highest cuts out fo the keys so will leave some master pins in the upper chambers

You should test the locks while they are still cold. It took you over 3 minutes between opening the first last to the last one.
