I see you used the silver spring that was supplied vs the red. Have you had any issues with the trigger while shooting like bad trigger reset or light strikes. Any input from your experience would be appreciated. Thanks.

Had to look elsewhere for the trigger spring removal and double-check the positioning for the L-shaped spring, but it went in fine first try. *Can't wait for the range* *Hopes for no light strikes*

OYUT your instructional video on how to install the Timney Alpha Glock GEN-5 trigger is outstanding. Best most absolutely clear step by step demonstration on youtube. Especially the part where you took your time showing how to put in the spring, slide lock lever... Super helpful! You made it easy and crystal clear. Your video is 1000x better than the ones Timney themselves put out, theirs's were confusing and did not have necessary detail where needed, plus they didn't even cover how to do a GEN-5. Thank you!

FYI Just installed mine have not shot it yet, I did notice that this new trigger has a hole made for the spring, looks like an upgrade I was having a hard time getting my spring to seat until I noticed.

Got the +4 base pad for my Glock 21. Very excited at the thought of having 17+1 rounds of God's caliber. Installed per instructions. Keeping the spring in the mag in order to slide the plate on was next to impossible. Damn thing popped out a dozen times before I finally got the plate on. With 17 rounds loaded, the slide was extremely hard to rack. Took 1 round out, and it racked normally, but the gun would not fire. Tried 15, same result...14 same result. Put a standard Glock mag in, and the gun worked flawlessly. Not a fan.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for this video. The smallest step at the 5:13 mark made all the diff, I had taken the glock 17, gen 5 apart to change the slide stop and could not put it back together. Without pushing that spring down so it's under the locking block you can't pull the trigger and you can't rack the slide. To be clear I had someone change the trigger for me almost 2 years ago so I wasn't familiar with messing with this trigger, I thought it was simple, to change the slide stop, but I wasn't putting it back correctly because of the spring, until I saw what you did at the 5:13 mark. Again thanks for this video, I had been working on this for at least 3 hours.

That is a great video!! I looked at the one on the Timney website (which really sucked as it is for a gen 4 and not gen 5), and I could not figure out what I was doing wrong. Well, I was doing it wrong because of their video. Thank you so much. Your video provides the exact step by step instruction.

Wont set off the hammer at all even after charging it?
@squaretread9715 Жыл бұрын
@vietnamtactical2088 I couldn't get it to then no. I've since dismantled and reassembled it deliberately going very slow through the process, now I have to pull the trigger clear into the back of the trigger guard for it to actually "drop the hammer" but I have yet to actually fire it. The factory glock trigger is more responsive than this

@@squaretread9715 glock recently just came out with their own “competition trigger” its most likely a lot better and its $40 cheaper

Glock 34 gen 5. THE SEAR DOES NOT FIT IN THE TRIGGER HOUSING. THE SCREW DOES NOT FIT IN GEN 5 TRIGGER HOUSING. YOU CANT ALSO NOT USE THE C CLIP. TIMNEY KNOWS ABOUT THIS AND REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT! I CALL THEY TELL ME TO USE THE PINK SPRING, TO BEND CONNECTOR. MY FIRST LITE STRIKE, TRIGGER STICKS ON RESET. PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!

This was a great video. Had to stop and start many times to make sure I got it in correctly. Especially for the new spring that is added.

You sir should get some sort of award from this install video. I just installed my trigger just now and it seems to work better with the same spring on my Glock 17 gen 5. Reset is clearly better on my gun now. Adjusted the takeup from the triggers screw a little bit but i don´t think that could effect the reset. My gen 5 Glock in new too and that might be the case too. Anyway the trigger is way better that i espect it to be. Well the prize in Finland is 250 euros but it sure was worth it!
