Im so glad you asked that question cause i have been checking the local distributor inventory daily and they only have the older R-410-A systems. We have though been offering the New Goodman R-32 ac systems and all we have heard is positive reviews.

@wholesaleacservices I like Rheem but am leaning towards Goodman because Goodman will use R32 instead of Rheem using r454b which sounds like it's more proprietary and has PFAS chemicals that will probably be banned.

@@wildmanofborneo Your 100% correct. Daikin which owns R-32 has been using it in Europe for over 10 years. Daikin is also the largest HVAC company in the USA and most of the internal parts on all ac companies are the same. They also offer the 10 year warranty on parts as long as the unit is registered. Please note that the installation is the most important part of any unit. Our company is in Miami,Florida.

R-454B is on the “Forever Chemicals” hit list in the EU. R-32 is not. Historically speaking, in order to “save the planet” we will need to change out all R-454 systems in a few years. Buy wisely.

Your comment raises valid concerns about the environmental impact of refrigerants like R-454B. Here's some context to help clarify the situation: R-454B and "Forever Chemicals": While it's true that R-454B has been flagged for its inclusion among HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) blends that might fall under the PFAS (“forever chemicals”) category, the designation isn't as straightforward as it seems. Many PFAS chemicals, like those used in firefighting foams, are significantly more harmful and persistent than refrigerants. R-454B was developed to comply with global mandates for reducing greenhouse gases, and it offers a substantial reduction in GWP (Global Warming Potential) compared to R-410A. R-32's Environmental Profile: R-32, on the other hand, is a single-component refrigerant with a lower GWP than R-410A or R-454B. However, it is classified as slightly flammable (A2L) and requires careful handling. Its exclusion from the EU's PFAS hit list is a point in its favor for now, but refrigerant regulations tend to evolve over time. Future-Proofing Concerns: The refrigeration industry is always in flux due to environmental policies. The EU's regulatory landscape often moves faster than that of other regions, which could mean R-454B systems face tighter restrictions in Europe. That said, predicting a wholesale phase-out in just a few years may be premature. Manufacturers are heavily invested in these new refrigerants to ensure compliance with both environmental and safety standards. Buying Advice: When selecting a system, it’s crucial to balance factors like efficiency, environmental impact, local regulations, and your specific needs. Both R-454B and R-32 are part of the industry's shift toward lower-GWP refrigerants. To truly "buy wisely," consider the reputation of the manufacturer, system performance, and maintenance requirements in addition to refrigerant type. Your concern underscores the importance of staying informed about refrigerant developments. The best approach is to consult with professionals who can offer insights tailored to your region and long-term needs.

These new units are cheaper in Australia compressor displacement is smaller for same capacity and refrigerant same cost but should be cheaper

Thank you for sharing your insight! It's interesting to hear about the differences in pricing and design between regions like Australia and the U.S. Compressor displacement and refrigerant types can indeed affect cost and efficiency. While the smaller compressor displacement might lower manufacturing costs, it's worth considering how it impacts performance and durability in various climates.

She is correct if you pay cost attention, you do need to put the vinegar in the pan because the pan is where the back chair begins then it spreads throughout your drain lines Because your drain lines are not made of copper to save money If you build a custom home and you do your drain lines and copper, you’re not going to have any buildup issues in the drain lines themselves, but you could have buildup issues in the pan

Was the complain water dripping/leaking out of the pan? I think have the same issue, my coils aren’t that bad but there’s ALOT of black gunk build up on the crevices
@wholesaleacservicesАй бұрын
Unfortunately when there is a water leak coming from the coil area and the coil is clean there is still a possibility that the pan is clogged and the proper way of cleaning it is by removing the coil and pan completely.
@TROOTHSEEKERS3 ай бұрын
If you install a gate valve on the output of the drain pan and closing it when adding either bleach or vinegar will prevent it from going back into the drain pan and therefore no damage.
@wholesaleacservices3 ай бұрын
Would it just not be safer and easier just to use white vinegar instead of installing a gate valve and having the bleach smell in their homes?

Why do you take the coil out?
@wholesaleacservices7 ай бұрын
The proper way of cleaning a coil is by removing it and even removing the drain pan to remove any algae or clogs. Cleaning a coil in place may be cheaper and easier but is not the correct service to give.

@@wholesaleacservices thanks for the info. I rarely ever clean evap coils, and the first time I cleaned one was the way you described. In the future I'll be sure to clean them properly even though it's a lot of work to do it that way😅
@wholesaleacservices7 ай бұрын
@@5.poundz Yes..It will require to vacuum the system after your finished with the cleaning but it will avoid an unhappy customer, especially if their water leak comes back. Please note that by cutting corners it will not bring you more clients or good reviews. In 2 months customers will forget what they paid for the coil cleaning and what they will remember is the service you gave them.
