Have you tried hot glue to add a buffer on the root sections - the secondary balance pounts?
@wiretrees3 ай бұрын
no...never been much of a fan of the hot glue...but yes it would be easier to apply

Wow!! You are amazing! I’ve seen you working on this particular tree on and off for several years it seems! True Art takes time and skill. Beautiful!! When you spin it and we see all the doubles sticking up, it just gives us an idea of how much time and effort you put into these. No one can do what you do bro! Just remember that! You are a one of a kind artist, Kai!!

Could you make a detailed vid on how you so cleanly separate the branches from the trunk? The way you do it is second to none. There are practically no gaps in the trunk where the branch comes out, and it looks like perfection.

Hey, with the pipe that is the core, you could drill some holes that are on the end that will be in the base, and use some Apoxie Sculpt on the pipe in the base, it should make a smooth surface so it doesn’t break any of the wires. I’m not sure where you’re located, but there is also Milliput which is kinda the same thing, I buy mine from Aves they have a lot of options, but I mainly use the Apoxie Sculpt. Good luck figuring it out. I love your trees❤️

I'm seeing so many wires, that would make me go cross-eyed lol I'm sure you'll make something nice out of it though! :)

Would be interesting to see how you do those roots indeed. I have two left hands so I'll never be able to make such a tree, but just watching how it is done, is very satisfying to my brain. :)) Absolutely love these wire trees you make!
