@masworraps5989 Graham Skidmore did pronounce Blind Date correctly in the first series, or at least the first ever episode of Blind Date in 1985, from what I’ve seen here on KZbin. 😃

This just brought back memories, almost in tears. Need to get my son to watch this. This was my young late brothers favourite show, sad to know even Ceila is gone. This use to make our saturdays. I don't watch TV anymore but u-tube videos, decided to search for blind date and saw this it has made my evening and am gonna go back to every single episode documented.

The woman are so feminine, the 80's 90's so sweet, men clean shaven, kind, caring, real gentlemen. Growing up back then was so much fun everyone go along, people could take a joke and people were not serious it was simple. You didn't need a lot of money to have a good time. Feels like a different world. People are so aggressive nowadays. Technology has destroyed us socially. It was great back then people didn't have mobile phones. It's a serious problem because mobiles are keeping people so busy that in worst cases people are living as strangers in homes glued to the addictive devices. If nothing is done and fast (this is an emergency) earth will be so lonely people will forget their very purpose for existence.

oh my gosh, anyone else here thinking the same thing when we compare the date to the opening credits, I remember these credits being the new credits, not only the animations but the theme tune is also new, I'm pretty sure this was the new updated tune. Anyway, my gosh.

I wonder how they found people who are so confident on TV! They all 'get' the format, are all up for a laugh, and even have some good puns and jokes. I imagine a lot of people would get very nervous and shy once they got in front of the cameras.
