My recent dining experience at this restaurant left much to be desired. From the moment we sat down and requested the menu, it became apparent that the visit was not going to meet our expectations. To our disappointment, we were informed that most of the items listed on the menu were unavailable. With hunger setting in, we reluctantly ordered from the limited selection that was available. The low point of the evening came when our soup arrived. Upon attempting to add some pepper to it, we made a rather unappetizing discovery - there were two insects inside the pepper container. This was not only off-putting but also concerning in terms of hygiene and food safety. Adding to our disappointment was the subpar service. Orders were not delivered on time, and the staff exhibited an unfriendly and unaccommodating attitude throughout our meal. To make matters worse, after we had already received our main courses and starters, the ordered chicken soup arrived. When we explained that we had already started consuming our food and therefore didn't require the soup, the waiter's behavior was highly inappropriate. He reacted poorly, displaying a lack of professionalism by throwing the soup into the trolley right in front of us. In summary, the visit to Raaja virundhu was marred by a lack of menu options, a concerning hygiene incident, poor service, and a regrettable incident with a waiter. This dining experience was far from satisfactory, and we cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. We hope that the issues we encountered can be addressed to improve the overall quality of service and customer satisfaction.
