This really looks like a tremendously fun movie, one that I will definitely enjoy. It's also a new one for me, and that always adds a small touch of excitemet and pleasure. A great choice! I don't think it's a very well known film. It is certainly a nice find for me. Dale, I appreciate your valuable recommendation. Every aspect of this video is terrific. The super quality of the "end product" always reflects your hard work. Keep it up!

Dale - terrific job! I always learn a great deal from all of the details you so nicely organize. I enjoyed your focus on Esther Williams. She had a beautiful smile. The pool at the start of the video is an amazing image, very impressive! Van Johnson always takes my mind to "Yours, Mine and Ours" - a truly wonderful film. I will definitely check this film out, it's another new one for me. Have a great weekend. I can"t wait to see your next video.

One of my favorite audie murphy westerns (if not one of my favorite westerns) seriously this is my once a month cinema must watch. That's such a great shot of him horsing flawlessly across the film's opening credits and the character himself is more dimensional than in most standard '50s oaters. My favorite line "that's my prescription physician...you better have it filled" ❤
@cinemahistoria7018Ай бұрын

Amazing stuff! A great piece of history! I've been to Roosevelt Field in Long Island, there is now a huge mall in that area. This is the only Billy Wilder movie I have not seen. Your videos always spark a strong interest - I will definitely borrow the DVD from the library. I'm sure it's a great film and I appreciate your enthusiastic recommendation. I have to correct you on your question of "Studio Scenes". There were indeed, two shots done in a studio, though with no actors in the scene. It is when Kesdler rams Waldos rudder in the dogfight scene. There was a wide shot and a close up of the rudfer getting hit by the propeller. This was done in the studio, on the ground.

Dale, wonderful design to the start of the video. I also loved the start to your Planet of The Apes video. The pink tint and the storm of flashing stars looks terrific.Well, this is a great pick, it offers good entertainment and plenty of fun. I believe it inspired "The Money Pit" - a Tom Hanks comedy film. Cary Grant starred in so many films. I recently watched - "Once Upon a Honeymoon"- it was great, I loved it! Dale, I enjoyed all of the aspects of your video. Super job. Your working hard and each finished video looks really great. Good research and highly interesting material. Do enjoy your weekend!

This film was an inspiration for "The Money Pit". These video's do take alot of my free time to make, so I'm glad they are appreciated. Trying to make the intro's interesting.
