I was called a test tube baby when I was in high school because back then it was thought that children who didn't have biological parents or had disabilities were defective and things that were grown and made in a test tube waa defective As an adult whenever I hear the term test tube baby it doesn't mean that a person is defective because they're created in a test tube it means that they're wanted and are special

Praying for you❤🙏 My little sister was born at 28 weeks too. I remember that my mom spent a lot of time in the hospital, and we didn't get to see her for a couple of months because she had to go to a bigger hospital. The hospital in our town doesn't have enough equipment or expertise. My little sister's growth is delayed. She finally learned to walk at the age of 9, and she still can't talk now. My little sister is 12 years old now, and she makes everyone happy :)).

Its very sad that abortions can happen at this stage.

What a horrific thing for the hospital to tell the parents to abort one or both babies when they knew full well that they had the ability and resources to do everything in their power to save them!! These beautiful children are proof that they could be save and they're both perfectly normal!! How many parents made the horrible , devastating mistake to abort twins like these who would have turned out just fine too?😢 😢

Never give up hope. I was told I would never have children. When I finally was pregnant with my son. They said to abort. That he wouldn't survive and so many issues and complications. I said NO I will not. He is my son. He is now 36 and healthy not a single health issue for all the issues he had and the ones they tried to scare me with. So happy for you

This happened to me and my twin were 39 now. my sister is handicapped has cerebral palsy can't walk or talk but we're both doing great I weighed 4lbs12oz at birth 2lbs which was my sister's blood she weighed 2lbs 12oz but in reality, we both weighed 2lbs 12 oz she was the doner twin I was the recipient. At the time back in the 1980s they couldn't detect ttts. We were 2 1/2 months Premature. There was only a 5% back then. My twin has the biggest personality and attitude of all of us kids 😆❤her. My family friend always called me her shoe box baby bc when she watched me thats where i slept

Doctors are very Blaise about offering abortion . Where I used to live a lady was aborted of three children at fifteen weeks to give the remaining two children a better chance. The remaining two children lost their fight for life at twenty weeks anyway. I think they self aborted in distress after their three siblings were killed. God sees our pain and even before birth those children lost the will to live after their brothers and sisters disappeared from beside them. Rest in peace little angels.

My daughter was born 7 weeks ago on 10.11.2023 at the RHFW, too. As soon as she was delivered I knew by looking at her that she had down syndrome. Soon after that was confirmed for me with a genetic test. I hoped at least she'd be healthy, but she had a PDA and AVSD. She soon deteriorated and stopped suck feeding because of her severe work of breathing. She was whisked away to the newborn care centre, too and the care and attention she received was second to none. She went to westmead kids to have her PDA repaired. That was a success. She then came back to Randwick childrens hospital, which is next to the Royal. She is still here at the moment, but her work of breathing is mild and she does not need any breathing support. She is still on a feeding tube and we are trying to get her to increase her oral feeding stamina. She has an NG tube because getting her to grow and gain weight is the top priority so she can have her open heart surgery at 5 to 6kg. She is just now starting to gain weight. I pray 🙏 she continues on this positive trajectory as she is the light of my life and my soul mate and I can't wait to watch her grow and find a place in this world and I want to help her do just that. I also pray for anyone who has a sick child. May yours, too, be healed.❤
