Tip. before travelling to Alaska be aware there are no Bureau-de-Change facilities anywhere in Alaska. Check with your bank that your cards will work. Good news, Alaska has plenty of ATMs.

Bring an umbrella for a more mentally and physically comfortable visit! 3. 💦 Bring your own WATER BOTTLE. You may bring an empty water bottle in and refill at the first aid station for FREE! 4. 🍗 Try the delicious SMOKED TURKEY LEG! We absolutely love it! 5. 🌺 Have fun! You will see a lot of different kinds of people in different costumes during your visit! Have an open mind and just relax and enjoy your time here 🧝🏻♀️

Hi Alaskabound1000, There are two trailheads to consider 1. Lost Lake Trailhead: This is the one shown in the video! This is the nearest starting point to Seward, making it convenient for arranging a taxi pick-up if needed. To reach it from Seward, head north for approximately 5 miles and then make a left (west) onto Scott Way. Continue following the signs that lead you to the Lost Lake trailhead. 2. Primrose Trailhead: Located slightly farther from Seward, the Primrose Trailhead can be reached by heading north from Seward and turning left (west) when you reach mile marker 17. After about a mile, you'll arrive at the Primrose Campground, where you'll find the trailhead at the far end of the campground road. Enjoy your Hike!
