I completed in SASS 1981 to 1994. But we used single action revolvers. Not Semi-auto pistols. Wait! is this sponsored by Bud light?

This is Wild Bunch, not cowboy action. Wild Bunch uses a 1911 and higher power factors. Target size and distance is supposed to be a challenge instead of the emphasis on clean matches in cowboy.

They are swing away flappers, for an extra challenge or bonus. We use them more for wild bunch than cowboy
