Sometimes you can also pull up on the nut and Johnny bolt with a pair of channel locks and while applying force in an upwards pulling motion start spinning the nut off with the pliers. I’ll also sometimes just stick a knife or flathead under the washer and do it like you did in this video. Never tried this specific trick though maybe next time!

Cost to replace?
@swilson62068 күн бұрын
I can't remember exact cost, I think it took about 4 hours to dig the hole, 4 foot deep, 3 feet wide. Then there was the cost of water valve, the long tube, and gravel.

Yes, it is possible, and it is also a good workout that can save you money on gym fees. Make sure to use a wrench with a long handle. You can slide a pipe over the wrench to make it longer. Thanks for your comment.

some good tips! I knew about the breaker bar, but didn’t have one or I mean the extended one helps a lot. But the jack stand tip is the best. I can’t tell you how many times the lug wrench wants to bend down the jack. Stan prevents it and gives you that extra help.! Tnks!

Hey- this tip led to another solution for smaller bulbs in tight spaces. After watching your video, I tried using black tape on a sharpie, but the angle would not allow it. This led to my carving a wine cork down on one end. This worked great in a small space. No tape needed!

Nice video, I have same problem.. where did you get replacement from??
@swilson62062 ай бұрын
This is how I get parts, go to an online parts store such as searspartsdirect.com, enter model number of the appliance, find the part number. Go to eBay and enter part number, often parts at eBay are 50% less. If parts are difficult to find, try different parts stores. If parts are not available, try going to an appliance recyclying center, and scavenge used parts, lot of luck involved. Also search used appliance parts
