Love this idea! For crochet wip's (works in progress) I use the extra large bags and storage/moving bins. Sometimes I staple these bags together to include the extra yarn until it is used up when I finish the project.

Norrine, I saw this video when it first came out, so when I saw an old desk on the side of the road that had one missing drawer and one drawer wrecked, I took home the two remaining drawers. (Desk was in too sad a shape for anyone to fix). Now, my old kitchen is going to be remodeled by new owners, so I am going to ask if I can have the 6 old drawers. Hope they say yes! 😊

I just wanted to share with you that my husband and I bought our first house in 1997. We knew nothing about owning a house (my husband grew up in Long Beach, CA so had only ever lived in rentals, and I simply did not know what to look for). Over the years we have discovered that our entire house was built by the previous owner - who was NOT in the construction business. Basically, he pieced everything together from pieces and parts he got free, by bartering, or for really cheap. Every time we have a service person come in to do repairs (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, flooring, you name it) they eventually say "Hmmmm, I've never seen this done like this before". Every repair/upgrade has included surprises! Now, 27 years later, we know what to expect and have come to refer to these things as "Deweys". Dewey being the guy that built the house. I hope the past 2 months have only increased your love for your new place!

You know how to bring it! I am SO sure you will make this new home a REAL HOME! One funny thing that happened to us was, we purchased a country home from a real old couple. We had to pay $3000.00 just to remove all the junk they left and we even found his dentures....YUCK! You have to laugh to stop from crying! Can't wait to see your adventures! Happy Holidays!
