This was a really good analysis. Yes, Finland has done much better with more rocky songs. Not so sure about the campy songs though... Please give me an example of those - except W95M of course. Yes, there was something wrong in the live performance of Paskana or that was at least my impression when I watched it on TV. Myself, I still voted for Sara Siipola, and I would have loved to have had her at the ESC final. In my ranking W95M was last before our national final, but it got up to fourth place after it. And I can understand why people voted for it.

I'm a big Emma fan but I really hope that she will not be selected for eurovision. Eurovision is not about good singing but about politics. Send a man with a beard in a dress and you have more chance to win.

I agree 100%. Emma is not suited by style or inclination to participte in such an event. It's just not her. Besides, her contractual obligations would likely not allow it anyway. I was amused by the last line of your comment. Sadly, you are probably right.

I'm from Poland and I once saw Tautumeitas performing on polish TV with their song "Guli Guli" and it was amazing. I keep my fingers crossed for them. Their song "Raganu Nakts" is the most popular with 13 million views on youtube.
