I think this is the best version of this on KZbin. It seems it's very difficult to make it sound like the original by Vangelis because you must get so many things right, the pace, the timing, raising and lowering the volume, playing slowly and speeding it up. That's part of what makes it so evocative and so sad, what stirs our emotions, not just the melody. What a beautiful piece he wrote and how beautifully you play it.

Was browsing YT after the FF7 Rebirth piano minigame and despite hearing this upteen times, I remain mesmerised by your faithful rendition. The steady beat captures the original 1997 OG essence where the party leaves Midgar into the big unknown world and just getting on with the journey which promises its fair share of dangers, mysteries and also peaceful uneventfulness (at times).
