Ótimo. Só achei desnecessário soltar a pinça. O resto tá perfeito.

Nice to see KYB's info for Insignia. I have an 2013 OPEL Insignia A sports tourer(220horse power 2 wheels drive), her suspension performance is being weakened.Could i have your suggestion of which type of KYB absorber kit i may use for improvement of comfort and driving performance? Thanks so much, love from China❤

Excellent video, thank you took me 2 days as my nuts where very rusty. Trust top nut so rusty had to cut the cup of with angle grinder to get strut out. Then couldn't get inside top nut off to remove shock, had to grind both sides of old shock so I could grip it so it does not rotate to get the top nut off!! What a job!!

Providing you use the one which is listed in the catalogue for your vehicle it should be fine.

Ich stell mir grad die Frage, warum man ne Lang Nuss 16 mm benutzt, zum Lösen der Mutter und beim zusammenbauen mit einer 14 mm Lang Nuss anzieht das macht doch irgendwie keinen Sinn
@Kyb-europe2 ай бұрын
Wir verwenden standardmäßig eine Mutter aus unserer eigenen Produktion. Das Gewinde bleibt das gleiche und dies hat keinen Einfluss auf die Montage.

Najlepszy filmik i najbardziej czytelny jaki znalazłem. Pomijając to że jest to jedyny tutorial pokazujący jak rozebrać ogólnie pojętą górę McPhersona (a właściwie jak się do niej dostać nie dokonując zniszczeń). Dzięki

Instead of this special 5.2mm tool and socket, i have used an "offset spanner" and a 6mm spanner. Worked just fine
@AutoCulture77324 күн бұрын
How ?
@rajeevanvijay239524 күн бұрын
@@AutoCulture773you use a 16mm offset spanner and place it on the nut. Then the top piece of strut pole is exposed, use a 6mm regular spanner to undo the nut. WD40 will also help a little when undoing.

you "had" the perfect opportunity to show the average man OR woman in the street how a faulty shock absorber comes out V E R Y slowly when compressed, but you didn`t show it, why ?

I have a DS4 whis looks the same. I have changes the lower arms, ball joints , droplinks , suspension legs and suspension mounts but now when i steer there is a really loud CLICK noise at full lock. Any ideas?
@lukaszM463 ай бұрын
7:08 you torqued the upper control arms just then an there,bad practice, then other components as well, and only then you push the whole steering knuckle up to get the upper control arms into the knuckle. all bushing bolts should be torqued with suspension set at ride height.

These videos by manufacturers and parts suppliers are all very well but they tend to be far removed from the real world. My car isn't beautifully steam-cleaned when I start working on it, and the nuts and bolts don't unscrew perfectly first time. In this video ... 1. Not sure about the placement of that dodgy looking bottle jack -- they could have spent more than 2 seconds showing us exactly where to locate it. 2. It was convenient that the new shock was exactly the same length as the old one. In the real world the bottom mounting hole won't line up with the hole the mounting bolt screws into, so you will have to adjust the height of the bottle jack (or whatever you're using). Again, it would have been nice if they had shown us this.
