kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6XUpZesp6eohLs You said that macOS says "Using a scalled resolution may affect performance." however at 8:01, we can see the screen res is 4k, UI looks like 4k, therefore there's absolutely no sense in saying that 3840x2160@100% scalling is gonna affect performance. Lost me there.

Hey, great video-thanks so much for the helpful content! I have a quick question: I just bought a MacBook Pro 14-inch with the M4 chip along with the Dell 4K P3223QE monitor. I connected the monitor using the USB-C to USB-C cable that came with it, but the default resolution recommended by macOS is 1920x1080 at 60Hz. When I scale to higher resolutions, everything becomes too small, and I can’t seem to get the specific scaled resolution I’m looking for, like 2560x1440. I’m wondering if this is a limitation of the monitor? I did try today with this new cable, and it did not help: Cable Matters [Intel Certified] Braided 40Gbps Thunderbolt 4 Cable 1m Black, with 240W Charging Power Delivery and 8K Video - Fully Compatible with Thunderbolt 3, USB 4 for Apple MacBook Pro, iMac I still have time to return the monitor there is no other solution. Thanks again for your help!

I’m wondering if this is a limitation of the monitor, the cable, or something else. Do you think switching cables could resolve this, or is this monitor not the best match for the MacBook for achieving the scaled resolution I want? I still have time to return the monitor if necessary, so I’d appreciate your advice. Thanks again for your help!

@@HalfManHalfTech Very nice microphone, I cant hear it but I have a sprectograph that I can use to watch the Audio frequencies I compared this one to the previous video audio, it picks up more of the high frequencies better than the old one the other thing that real y could see is the when you were talking at the back of the mic, it was picking up the high frequencies better than than when it was facing towards you which is a good thing because you dont want the highs on the front of the mic, the back is fine. I am retired engineer and have had a lot of experience with audio gear thats why I have the sprectograph on my computer . Great mic it reminds me of the old Senhiezer shotgun mics that I used to work with in the 70 and 80s. Better for your studio. Take care ben and looking forward to your next video.😄
