I had a blade of grass slip past an air filter on a cr500 Honda, it stuck open the carburettor slide wide open, I was on it at the time and heading for a river bank. That was scary

put ur finger in the exhaust it takes away the air flow component of the combustion cycle and starves the engine during runaway motors

Some people are just plain stupid. Put it in 5th and dump the clutch in stead of looking around like an idiot “I’ve never seen that”

Unscrew to throttle body from the top of the carburetor and clean it out real well check your throttle cable as well

That has happened to me on every cow saki I own I don't know what make that bike I guess I could only guess

I think ur idle is a bit too high

This is mainly caused by a blocked idle yet happened on my mates 2006 rm250 causes the bike to not idle

Crankcase can fill with fuel and run on that when the seal is bad and it’ll run away on ya.

Had a Kx500 do the same thing, pulled the spark cap off nothing kept running. Pulled the choke up stopped it instantly

its caused from an air leak probably lol once that happens your spark plug turns into a glow plug so basically disconnecting it wont do shit. just got block off the carb

Stuck oil injector. My dad had 250 do the same. Never knew it had one and we always premixed it. One day the injector hot stuck and we had to cut all line to the throttle body to kill it. Sold it to a friend from highschool and that's when he informed us of it.

Hit the throttle. Last thing you would think but it usually stops it. Happens on 2 stroke wave runners when you rev them out of water

I had the same thing happened on my Rrm250. I turn the fuel off and let The Carby run dry to store it and when the fuel got Low it just peaked out pulled the plug and just kept going. I was going to rebuild it anyway but Every Thing seemed perfect on it. It has Never happened again since I rebuilt it. But also I never run the Carb dry like that again😂. I just dropped the carburetor plug if gonna store it for long.

I had Yamaha dt400 and friend wanted ride. He started the bike and the bike was revving to the max. I told him to drop the clutch and my friend became first Australian Astronaut! What I tried to say was drop clutch with handbrake on

Why not just pull the plug wire..

I weighed my 2024 ultimate trail 850 and it’s 950 lbs with half a tank of fuel. The winch,power steering, front and rear bumpers along with heavy 27” tires all add up. It doesn’t wheelie as easy as yours does. It doesn’t seem to accelerate as quick as yours either. Regardless I’ve had it up to 132 km/hr. Now there’s a stop ride on it due to some fuel flange leak causing fires in a few machines. Also the rear sway bar is making an awful noise when you push down on the back end. It’s still a really nice machine though. Hopefully I made the right decision getting it. I sold my 2012 brute force 750 and it never gave me any problems.
