Over the past few weeks, I've seen and heard of so many Chester fans straight up hating on Emily for no other reason than because she is "Not" Chester. And as someone who likely owes Chester (along with Papa Roach) for the fact that I am still within the land of the living due to many of nights spent screaming along to his songs back when I was in my late teens, I find it rather disheartening, and honestly feel that Chester would be turning over in his grave, to hear so many of the people who claim to be fans of his trying to actively tear down someone when so much of his time with us was used to try to lift others up, even while he lost his own battle. Emily is not Chester. She never will be. But I don't for a moment think she is trying to 'be' him either. She's simply being herself, working with a Legacy he left behind, and doing the same thing ALL artists do, trying to give people that little bit of help to make it through their day in this world. A world that, at the end of the day, cares nothing about any of us.

This crowd is nothing to Seoul crowd. Seems like so many people are just angry about her being in LP. This crowd is so disappointing.

I saw them at this concert, was nice to see them playing again, Emily in The Emptiness Machine kills it, in some others she does a great job but there are some songs where she sounds really bad, we have to be honest and objective, we cannot ignore that.

I was there and it was awesome! This video does a pretty great job of really capturing the crowd's energy. Every single song, every single person i saw was singing every single word, yelling with pure joy and nostalgia. Em did a great job and seems to get better with each new show she does. LINKIN PARK IS BACK!!

Emily will NEVER substitute Chester. That's obvious. She is a different person, with a distinct voice, a different life story etc. I think is a mistake to expect or to try to see her in Chester's place. Anyone who tries this will get frustrated. Instead, I prefer to see her as a new member adding her colors to the band while respecting Chester's legacy. The band has the right to continue alive. Chester wouldn't want any different and it baffles me to see people using Chester's name to attack Emily and the rest of the band for taking her in, something Chester would never do or approve.
