If Metallica just went back to doing some old school stock riffs like this for st anger, people would have liked it a lot more. They tried so hard to be creative and it turned out so stupid. Same thing with 72 seasons. I hate basically all the riffs on it lol. They should just go back to simpler stuff like this. Simpler meaning they didnt try to do too much back then. Just basic shit that worked for what they were trying to do. Good cover though 👍

Cool cover seems like we got similar interpretations their use of octavers and drop pedals makes pinning down a tuning for them a bit tricky 😅.

load is a matter of fact the next level of heavy metal where the sound is more modern from past 90a heavy metal sound.. not sure why it was classified as alternative rock.. i dont see it fits in any way.. i would call it as modern heavy metal
