Love your vids, but i think that making these ,,type beats,, puts you in a creative loop. You are great producer, but in my opinion you should try making your own beats.

Maybe but It has also pushed me to learn a bunch of new stuff too! Once I get some credibility to my name Ill title these videos whatever I want and make whatever I want but for now im learning alot by making ”type beats” and people seem to enjoy watching these too. But yes I want to put my own spin on these beats too and I should do a better job at it

I usually don’t comment on videos but this is by far the most creative type of beatmaking i‘ve seen on youtube. Many beatmakers are producing great tutorials and good content but their beats aren‘t really on a high level. Your taste in sampling and the quality of your beats is absolutely top tier. Also insane consistency. Keep going 👏🏻

Yo Maxeyyy, I need some mixing advice. I usually keep my kick at max velocity, sitting around 0 to -3 dB, and my 808 at about 90% velocity, hovering around -3 dB. Is this fine, or should my kick hit closer to 0 dB for more punch? And do you keep your kick hit the 0 dB or you keep it lower? Thanks! (i use your drumkits so its the same sounds you use)
