the other option you have is to bluescreen in real people into your photoreal sets.

that fspy idea is a MUST. how did you add the grime on just the edges of the floor around the benches?
@AdnanCan5 күн бұрын
2 things, I used ambient occlusion then also plugged in grunge textures. You can download some by Google search or if you don't mind spending a bit of money I recommend Fluent Materializer add-on. But you can use free methods, I am just too lazy to mess around with materials too much

This is great, awesome work, small tip, I noticed the edge of the cushions look too bright against the wall, perhaps some ambient occlusion node added to the wall could make it a little darker and create some artificial shadows which can separate the cushion from the wall in a non-intrusive manner.
@AdnanCan25 күн бұрын
Thanks. Ah yeah the cushions are horrible I think I need to restart it completely. Never knew about the ambient occlusion trick. Will test it out. Thanks for the tips! Cheers

@@AdnanCan I don't think you should completely re-do your chairs, i think they looks good, but you should perhaps subdivide them a little bit and add some lumps in places that are likely to be, like if someone is sitting on a seat all day that area will be a bit more dirty and may sag in a little bit. Its all about the world building and the 'why' things are like that if you get what im saying. Good work though bro, love it

There's no chance in hell this has no comments. Am I crazy? This is an amazing video. Super skilled. Once you added the finer details, nobody would know it's not a real set. Maybe a little less clarity on the stickers? Otherwise great stuff!

Really enjoying your thought process through this. I know nothing, but I think the sound layering would be the hardest part. The sound sets the scene it adds emotions and tells people subconsciously how to feel. Will you be doing a video about the sound?
@AdnanCanАй бұрын
You are absolutely right, sound is as or if not more important than visuals. For sure I will get to it once I'm at that stage. I need to revise SFX first, I find it difficult to get right

I do agree, certainly can make the environment myself, and do get the hate towards AI. The use case for this would mainly be for low quality pre-viz and storyboarding. For my hobby film project I wouldn't dare using this method. Thanks mate

Publishing a 80% solution is better than never publishing the perfect film. With each film you learn things that improve the next one. Some people will never publish their first one because it isn't 100%. We learn by doing.
@AdnanCanАй бұрын
hmm well said I like the 80% as a baseline, we should aim for 80.
@ArminDaDeeАй бұрын
I’m not sure if emphasising the identity of the main protagonist is beneficial. I believe that keeping the main character anonymous allows the viewer to better relate, as they can envision themselves in that character’s shoes rather than observing from a third-person perspective. This is somewhat akin to the monster; by not revealing it for as long as possible, we tap into the viewer’s personal fears, making them create the monster in their head instead of showing something that they are not really afraid of. That’s just my two pence on your already outstanding work and brilliant ideas which I thoroughly enjoy. Keep it up!
@AdnanCanАй бұрын
Good point, the lack of specific identity markers allows viewers to project their own identities. I think that's why I did only POV shots in the first short. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments and encouragement!
