Success at the 2nd attempt, using leftover dough from the 1st. Changed to a non stick frying pan from one similar to that shown. No lid and a little sunflower oil to aid the non stick. Try 3 different thickness to see what works for you, 1cm was about right. The main thing is to avoid sticking, don't take the 5 min per side literally, just judge it by eye.

I made these substituting ordinary flour and vegetable oil for gluten free wheat and olive oil. They were beautiful with exception to them having a very bitter after taste. Can anyone advise me why that could be?🙏🏿 Although I suspect it might be the olive oil

Going to try this. Looks great. I pray I can do it but am not good with grams I’d rather prefer cups or teaspoons or tablespoons. I don’t understand 50 g or 100 g. I don’t even know what it means. Bread flour is not sifted like cakes. There is not need as we do not need separate particles to be coated with fat. You add oil at 20% of the weight of flour. That is far too high. 5% is more balanced. You knead the dough. That develops gluten. The last thing you do with a baking powder leavened bread is knead. It gives a heavier bread with baking powder. I'm sorry to be rude, but you clearly know nothing about baking bread. Why are you proposing to teach others?
