I always run into your dumb ass when I watch phish videos. Think you’re the only person who watches them more than most fans. Are you that much of a closet case, or do you have nothing better in your life? Maybe start going to phish shows lol. Shit on them in person

I got “arrested” at this show. Parked our butts on the lawn and packed a bowl of early 2000s mids, took one hit and the two cool bros behind us whipped out badges and took us to a side area where they wrote up our paperwork. Told us we had to leave but then the lady in charge of us opened the gate back into the show. Had to drive back up to Charlotte a month later to go in front of a judge and get fined $100. Still made it to Atlanta the next night! Good times.

Lol he flubbed the twist lyrics only like a non sober Trey could flub.
@kevinmurtagh49962 жыл бұрын
I don’t know, he and everyone around him claims that this was a “sober tour” for him. In the biography it says that he went overboard with it, even not drinking caffeine. I would argue that if you’ve been used to playing under the influence for years, wouldn’t you flub and mess up lyrics if you suddenly had to play completely sober? Because you’re not used to it?
@STANLEY2BRICKS2 жыл бұрын
@@kevinmurtagh4996 well as someone that has never managed to get completely sober I could not answer that question. But I assume it's most likely very possible.

@@kevinmurtagh4996 I’ve heard this too, and then he fell off the wagon at IT right? Either way this was a great tour I missed pittsburgh, but saw everything else still kick myself for missing freakin pittsburgh lol

@@jimreplicant So I’m only going off what it says in the Phish bio. The one by Park Puterbaugh, the journalist who spent a lot of time hanging out with them and interviewing them for many years. I’ll have to go back and check, but I think it says that Trey did this thing called a “runner” after every show from start of summer tour all the way through the NYE run. The runner thing came from Neil Young apparently, and it means that he went straight from the venue to the hotel the moment the show ended. It also says that Trey didn’t use any kind of mind altering substance- even caffeine! I know that for whatever reason Phish fans don’t want to believe this. But I have no idea why the band and all the people close to the band who were interviewed for the book would lie about it. On the other hand, it’s really easy to believe that Trey would have taken a hiatus from his substance-break for IT. There’s really no way to know though. 🤷♂️
