انا ارى هذه النتاجات العظيمة لا تقل أهمية عن نتاجات الحضارات القديمة كالاهرام والجنائن المعلقة ، فهي تكاد تكون معجزة نظرا لدقة تفاصيل حروفها!

It's so clever to create this scene to replace the original dictation to Süssmayr! Truly visionary filmmaking ❤

This has to be one of the most incredibly intense and beautifully done scenes in movie history.

For me, this scene is one of the pinnacles of universal cinematography: one of the greatest musical geniuses who ever existed dictating his final work to a rival musician who is also an admirer. When I watch this scene, I get the impression that I am watching a creator god dictating his creation to an angel who is his only companion and servant, as if they were both alone in the universe. This masterful scene is beyond description.

İ can watch this a million times, and İ will be blown away every single time. I lived in Japan at that time. In eight years, I had been to a movie theater only ten times. And I watched Amadeus eight times within a month, paying for a premium seat each time. Ironically, I didn't enjoyed much Mozart (I secretly valued Mozart's compositions in minor tones), but nevertheless, I appreciated the strong musical concepts put so well in the movie. This clip revives that feeling. Thank you.

I love how flustered sallieri gets when he doesnt understand 3:07 but then the relief that washes over him when it is explained from mozarts perspective.

I'm a composer myself. Of course, Mozart didn't produce different parts on vocals and instruments like this from his mind, which are counterpoint and connected. You can't write a fugue on 3 or 4 voices just like that. It requires more time, thinking about how voices go together, thinking about development of music material. Mozart finished about 3/4 of the Requiem before his death, and it took him a while. I don't deny that he was a genius, but polyphonic music is math and there were no computers in 18th century.

Nice scene. Though, historically incorrect. Saliery didn't assist Mozart with Requiem. Zusmayer finished Requiem after Mozart's death, so that his wife can sell it and make money. It's a myth that Saliery poisoned Mozart. Most probably he died of STD.

My very favorite section part of this - my 2nd fav. Movie of all time. Though I’m a 71 year old metal rocker, I abosolutely love this sene and it make me more emotional that nearly anything I’m ever encountered as I can understand the power of this translation act. Wow! Blows me away even on my 200th watch. Nocky-Far Past Dark
