I have this board & water will find its way to motor bearing and front wheel bearing, bearings will rust and noisy and less efficient & eventually it will stop working as more heat and trapped moisture, 100% waterproof? No, even if it was riding in the rain because of much less grip on those pu wheels a bad idea, cloudwheels and you might experience wheel bites

for free-wheeling cant you just take off the belt and it will be easer.

Would it be feasible to get those stickers that warranty companies use to detect moisture and put a bunch of them around the inside of the case at key points of likely ingress, and they would be able to tell you everywhere there was any moisture even after you let it dry? Or is such a suggestion overboard:S

Hub motor is lovely to cruise downhill and get that longboard feeling. I've switched to belt and the noise is the biggest difference imo, but I skate a lot of paths where there are walkers and having a bit of noise is a good thing so you aren't always sneaking up behind people and waiting for them to notice you.
