The bosses health scale up the more people you take into boss fights. Look for an archer with divine possesion skill. If you are having trouble hitting him use the wilderness mask mimicry mode with the homing arrows. Hope this helps.

Looks like you have to do a certain amount of dmg to knock him out of tree so I would so the key to this is making sure all tribesmen can do massive bow dmg knocking him down faster.

I think it is easier if you do it solo. I find that elites and bosses are health sponges when you bring 1+ followers. It also makes it easier to control the fight- I found it more chill and easier just to solo it. Lol I was madder than you when I tried it with followers

Seeing and hearing you in this fight brings back bad memories of when I was playing Monster Hunter World. I was getting so frustrated at the game. I'm like you, I'm not super good at fights.

That looked like a slightly annoying fight.

So frustrating to watch but the stream of expletives at the end was worth the price of admission.

I like that you show that the game isn’t easy, it can be frustrating as hell. It is still early access and has a ways to go still. I watch some videos where the person wipes out a boss in like 3 hits, then I go try and die instantly. Your videos are so much more a true representation of the game and I like and appreciate that. Makes me feel like it’s not just me that gets flustered and frustrated. 👍😊

There were funny bits but,at your expense,sorry! Have to say,yeh draw your bow back further for more damage.Better arrows,better bow?(steel at this point). spear wise,loot a mechanical/steel etc one and mod it up. Eat better nosh,a lot better!(you should be on top gourmet shit)and throw in cigars,tequilla/booze too. A premium meat dish,fruit n veg dish,staple dish You deserve that after-smoke! I'm gonna have 1 now,just for watching lol...

LOL THAT is exactly what my boss fights look like, swearing and all. Only difference is in my case everyone ends up dead except the boss. Fried rare steak is better than broth (for bonuses) but you still need to up your food game. Make some ham, fried pumpkin (or mixed jam), mead, and fried tacos. Those buffs really do help. I always have a water bottle on all my tribesmen.

I was wondering why u havent got any character besides the original by ueing the original gets u only so far if u cant take the good skills of higher npcs yet.... u should look for a really good one and control it they do alot more dmg than the oginal i have had use 3 by now and all those yummy crits they do omg is a game changer ano Ther thing i have seen few of u bosses fights and since u always end up on odd situations i would be more aware of bing more things to balance the situation when it goes the other way around i wish u better luck on the next one! (Pain and stress free)

I have my tribe geared up to take on this same fight, but I realized you have to be level 50 and we're only awareness level 49. Will try it as soon as we get to 50. My main tribesman has Heart Captor which adds plus 12%, Melee III which adds 9% and Dual Blades III for another 9% damage when using dual blades. The smoked ham gives you +10 Attack and Mead add +6% dmg. Cigar adds Crit +. Stack mead, ham, pumpkin ring, taco, and cigar before a boss fight. Not sure how much it helps, but maybe the buffs would put you over the edge and take down is health quicker and before he can climb the tree. We'll see how it goes. This was highly enjoyable if not for the intended purpose. You're not the only one who get frustrated with this game...cheers

I was waiting for this! LOL. I don't know how many times I died trying to solo this guy. 1st phase is still doable with great bows and dual blade but 2nd phase with that huge LOG plus the 1 shot pebble throws makes it almost impossible to solokill.

That was insane ... I would have gone berserk as well. I actually have noticied some teleportation happening myself in the Barbarian Barracks yesterday. I was fighting one guy and all of a sudden he was in an other spot. Other strange things have happened lately too. 2 days ago I logged in and everyone was at mood 100 or so and rebelled and started killing eachother. Then yesterday while I had 2 people in the Barbarian Barracks (deployed) while fighting somehow they captured one of them and put them in the back to saccrifice him !!!

I didn't think about it until you were having issues with ALT and CTRL that ALT and CTRL should be switched in soulmask. The roll is used in way more intense situations and CTRL is10x easier to push than ALT, so roll should be on ALT and crouch should be on CTRL It's like when I figured out that the J whistle should be switched with U whistle in ARK. NOBODY accidently hits U, if they do it is far less, but everyone accidently hits J. So that means J should be "all stop following" and you can never go wrong hitting that button. Once you switch J to unfollow, because it is easier to press, using j constantly becomes part of my gameplay whereas it never did when unfollow was U.

Bad game mechanic is bad. Bad server connections worse best quote so far "You're not even hard, you're just broken" and ya, that's broken when it can exit the area than warp back in with a 20% heal-up these animations are complete garbage and so are the hit boxes. Look I know its not a souls game, but FFS!

FF fan boy list, great universe, but dogshit to play

I heard about these and my base isn't far from yours but closer to early game spawns, I have never had an invasion and I afk a lot. What this has me wondering is: if there a certain invisible barrier that once you build on the other side of it, it will get raided if you have to reach a certain level or awareness for it to happen, I'm lvl42 & 30 awareness. If me building my base on water helps.90% is over water and 10% is touching land. My whole thought was, they can only attack from 1 side when on the water but I heard not to block all access because they will spawn on your base. My base is built on the water behind the middle mysterious ruins where you get control. Does building a bonfire stop animal spawns in that area? I found an area I really like but a Jaguar spawns there, should I avoid building where I know spawns are? I would assume that if the spawn is marked on the map that I should defiantly avoid those but I'm talking about your random (not random) animal spawns.

The multiple tribesmen following you makes sense to me. I walked down a river slaying alligators, collected my new tamed tribesmen and walked back down that same river. The first aligator was tricky and reminded me to put bandages on tribesmen, second alligator i died and my first 2 flint tribe crafting tribesmen died, I solo every run now.

The red shroud will change and you'll be able to go in later but you need to figure out how. 😃

Yo! Great video! I was excited to see you give this a try and enjoy it! I cheered when you finally figured out you can craft a pick and axe LOL! Can't wait to see you get into the building system! It's a hobbit's dream. There is an insane amount of blocks you can eventually craft, some you unlock by digging new terrain materials, and some you get from questing. Pickaxe EVERYTHING! I'm also playing a mage, and I mostly just rock two wands, one fire and one shock, and then swap between depending on the enemy, but as they are only mid-range, you need to be fairly close for it to be accurate, but I think that just makes it a little more fun. The staff is fully ranged and more powerful but slow and difficult to wield solo unless you get yourself a nice little perch where enemies can't reach you, plus the spells are a bit of a pain to loot and then craft. The "location" system is definitely something the devs need to work on; I've lost many hours trying to follow it and instead end up running around like a headless chicken. My advice is to let it get you in the vicinity, and then go off intuition. The transmog system is brand new, and definitely not intuitive to new players. But when you go into your character screen, hit R to access the vanity armor so you can unequip then reequip properly. Lastly, trees with red leaves give the best resin drops!

In the Settings of the game, for what i saw in they video update, you can change a lot configs, also introduce new survival mechanics, i would recomend that, for what you asked about the "food bar" thing. There also more change to fit your experience with all custom options by you, or just use the pre-made ones, the "survival mode" is one of those :)).

Steam didnt make promotions too (the last i saw was 20%, so was still expensive to someone who lives in paraguay as we pay 5x more from dollar haha, because dollar is 5x more then my currency, that means the game cost r$102,00 here (actually 20 dollars).

This game is a lot of fun. I haven't played in about four months, but since I just sort of finished Dawn of Defiance I may start it back up. There are buried chest hidden around to find, including one in the shroud around where you thought your body was after the bridge fall. The hearths you place down to start a base are fast travel points. This game lets you take your stuff from your game into Someone else game.

It is a fun game. The world is rather empty, but fun. You should do a few more of these to at least finish all the quest. There is more building as you get better hammers. Once you do all the quest, there is nothing left but to build cool stuff. They did just add a small quality of life patch that helped. If you do go back for a bit, learn to headshot with a bow.

recently came back to this when I saw video and the base building really annoyed the shit out of me. tried to use snapping and I can't get things to line up. things keep moving up and down on the z-axis. any way to control that better?

Enshrouded building system is better than Soulmask but in friendly NPCs management and utility Soulmask win . However, if I can warn you about something, it would be not to dig without planning what you are looking for, because a large part of the terrain is terraformable, making things difficult for you if by digging too much you block your access to chests or resources. However, at the same time, this system allows you to create underground fortresses or cellars.
