What da hell.....I need a nappy change and a fistful of valium after that. I thought my bygone rd350 was fast.😢

I have an RZ350 in parts for years and years. I have brand new crankshaft, cylinders, valves, heads, all bunch of new parts original Yamaha in the boxes. I have wiseco pistons , vForce reeds, programmable CDI,, bigger Mikuni carbs all brand new parts. Also converted to use 1989 FZR 400 running gear like a deltabox swing arm ,wheels, brakes, suspension. It will make a hell of a ride . but I don't have the time to put it toghether. I've been hoarding parts for 15 years. But after watching this video I understand I have to do it. Even if it kills me. I'm old anyway. I have to experience something like that rider is going through.I fell the need for speed!

Just watch the bikes that are overtaking it... 1000cc modern monsters with all the bells and whistles I bet....That´s what it takes to beat one of these...40 years of development and engine size.

As a person who has club raced a TZ750 in the US, This video scared the hell out of me. I have seen vids of IOM before, but riding at that pace into sunlight takes big ones and as well proper tuned suspension which is is not easy on a TZ750. I really got a kick out of his short shifting at 10K. These bikes get insanely fast in that last 1500rpm. Turn 8 at the old Riverside raceway would separate the men from the boys. Well done to the rider in this video.

I heard the top speed is around 180 for the TZ750, but I wonder what the actual top speed is. 74-76 TZ750’s had 90hp, and 77-79 had 120hp, not much compared to modern machines, but everything about this bike is 1970’s technology and it was one of the fastest for it’s time.
