Why Nico does not criticize the judges who were wrong? At the start of the race in Spain 2023 when Russell cut the corner and touched the yellow line with the top left tyre, he was behind Piastri so he should have started behind him and not in front of him as the judges said, although it is a very closed situation, the judges have the technology to check it. You can check by watching the start of the race again and stop him when he touches the yellow line, Russell is behind Piastri. Another mistake by the judges, if Russell were penalized for 5 seconds, Checo should be given the 3rd. place.

@@somaliano99kingkonghimself75 No, you don't understand. It's delusional to think Red Bull would be intenionally trying to slow Checo down. That's absurd. Spent some time actually watching the sport, including practice. Even if the both of them had the same outright pace over a lap, Max would still be faster over a race distance, averaged over a season. Do you know why? Because Max rarely makes unforced errors out on track.

I think Sergio did incredibly well, but I also believe Red Bull have a PR crisis on their hands with 2 very boring drivers in terms of marketability.... so they want Danny Ric back in the car next season and that's slowly becoming more likely.

Pérez Is so reliable in marketing, but he comes with a lot of fanboys, thats the main problem, they cant highlights any of them without hating and drama coming quickly.

@@xbigc2893 so in other words, he's incredibly marketable? C'mon... they brought him back for two reasons, the first is his popularity and the second being to get him back in a car that's capable of winning, if Sergio cannot deliver (consistently) then Danny will be back in.

Max isn't very well liked, particularly for a driver with his success, and Sergio is the quiet type, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it makes them hard to market. Daniel Ricciardo has the looks, the energy, the popularity but most of all the driving chops. If they don't get him in the car, they need to get Lando when he comes off contract with Maclaren. Just my opinions.

Nico’s question was sharp, but it was a valid one. Christian defended his driver as he should, but it is apparent in his answer that he too recognize the difference in performance between Checo and Max. Both Nico and Christian are doing what they are supposed to do.
