I lived in CFB Baden from 1979 to 1984. I was 14 years old when we arrived. Went to Baden Senior grade 9 to 13. Lived in PMQ 10/6. Best time of my life.

Remember the rooms well, first time I had my own room.

Haaa I was wondering as well about the red blinking light while watching the video. It’s only after I read the comments. This sure brings back memories. I was a Cook with 1 RCHA from 86-90. Stayed in that shack until they condemned it and moved us to A-80..... new quarters. I was so glad to get some independence after moving onto the economy after a year in the shacks.

I'm a native from Offenburg and I was 7 when you filmed this. What I want to tell you: -I had no idea you had a local canadian radio station talking about places like Offenburg, Strasbourg, etc, that's so cool. -the same same Autobahn is sooo much more crowded now and was so much nicer and greener back then! -Thank you for the glimpse into the past. Me and many other people miss you canadians. Now everything is russian and turkish infested in Lahr. I'm NOT a racist but I AM saying It was better when you were still there!

The video camera was on a tripod in the middle of the room with the VCR on the table recording the inspection. I took off the len cap and put away. The red blink light was cover with electric tape. They never asked if it was recording. And never pay attention to the camera. It was a good inspection as you saw it.
