I live in the suburbs there's no track near me and every once in awhile I get in a race with someone on the street it's not that bad of a thing we're smart about it I don't understand why you would want the cops to take my car

On the fd judging, its always gonna be judge biased and thats never gonna change. The only thing thats gonna change is their preference, this year and the last two as long as your on the rtr team your gonna win nearly all your battles even if you clearly lost. For a couple years before that you won nearly every battle as long as your driving an Ls bmw. Obviously theres something every year but those are the most recent trends. Hell matt field shoulda won the championship the last 3 years but the judges screw him over the last 2-3 events every year so he cant win it

I was 1 of the OGs fighting for a track on Long Island even before Long Island Needs a Dragstrip formed. Your head would spin if you knew the whole story about Calverton (Epcal) and Riverhead Township. There was a buyer for the property, believe it's 660ish acres with the financial backing to build a full motorsports facility there. At the same time, someone else stepped in with a counter offer for less money & no finances to build an indoor ski resort. The town decided to go with the lower offer! After years of political garbage, that plan died. It never had a chance without backing, plus it would have to be taller than the county would allow and the power consumption was so high, the power authority stated they couldn't supply it.

Roger Riddell and his family lived just up the road from my house in small town Martinsville, IN.. As a kid growing up in the 80's I rode on his Harley with him several times, he was a crazy ass, but very nice guy.. He did some really cool stunts back in the day and doesn't receive the recognition that he deserves, I was glad to hear him mentioned by Pete Today!! I still occasionally see him riding his old black Harley thru town and it makes me smile.. His son Rodney and Grandson, are working on keeping his legend going by riding and jumping backwards from what I hear..
