I was at this concert, second row from the stage - I remember it like it was yesterday - the old Winnipeg Arena - loud, probably the loudest arena in North America, if not the world, at the time. Love this

This is incredible. This was super fun to sing along with back when I was in Recording Engineering school and playing in bands... First band I was in covered many Triumph songs - we were kids then 16 thru 19 years old. This sounds (feels) facial / palate the original key. Thanks for this !!

Apparently they are working to digitize a whole vault of MUCH tapes from the CHUM era. That was a few years ago. Where’s the progress ? I would love to watch more of these episodes full & uncle from the music and commercials. Great upload thank you.

I lived in Gatineau for a few months in 2014-15 and the area is so different today. It's so great to see these old lines when they were still in service - especially from the cab window. By the way these are 8mm films, not "video recordings" for all you young'ins.

Thanks for this. I was looking for it for over a decade, as I made a short rock doc about the American Rock Festival. It's available on KZbin. I knew it was out there, I just couldn't find the right person to fess it up....

It’s interesting to track the struggles in Rik’s high register. I’ve always sort of assumed it was somewhere in the early 2000s when it started to get harder for him. I think he managed pretty well here though!

Triumph was one of those bands that were great, talented but had a hard time getting over that last hump into mega stardom. They were pretty big in the 80’s though. Great band.
