it's hard to break into music originally..when it's all been done before..you get compared & it sticks.. .I see Stevie nicks in a red dress. the trick is to follow or lead.Be different. create your own style.or be like a cover band..it's pretty hard I know only too well. Many of my friends & musical peers are trapped in the past..pays the bills but you can't break into a real scene of your own. no one likes criticism, but I've copped a tonne for not conforming or sounding like others for years..that's why being constructive and original makes me happier than same old same.world famous bands have their own style even within a common genre. Old bands rarely mimmick others, because they pioneered new angles. Cool tune :) and the crowd digs it. keep rocking & shining 🔅

I left a comment on one of these other Metric shorts but I 'll say it again here: Metric is one of the worst live bands I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I love Metric. They've got some fantastic albums but they've always been terrible live. One of the worst concerts I've ever been too. They sound nothing like their albums and there is zero energy to the performance.

Oh no...time to try a different approach!!..We all get old + skinny jeans and tight tee-shirts & boots are a little unbecoming.. I'm sad because I've always loved the Police & Sting...He looks so tired here too... I'm really hoping its just jet lag as you cant keep touring hard forever! 😢
