Saw this last night but Stephen Webb was playing Frank. Jason had first 2 showings off. Stephen was amazing. Saw him last year too.

Saw Jason do this tonight in Blackpool - thought he seemed bored and lacklustre no quality to the performance whatsoever. Lots of people around me asking if it really was him. Sadly it was.

His voice has matured really well and now BRILLIANT. I would Jason is my equal third as Frank. To me, equal first/favourite is Tim Curry and David Bedella. Jason shares equal third with Anthony Head

Do you have the “toucha toucha touch me” song because Janet was so good in that song and I can’t find anything like it.. the way she just made the high notes really chaotic and it actually worked really well

He definitely put his own stamp on the character. Whilst Tim Curry will always be the GOAT, Jason was great in the role. I'm glad to have seen this on stage and that this is here for posterity.

Anthony Head is the GOAT for me, as he was my first Frank - I saw the stage show before the film - & still have the 12" of his version of Sweet Transvestite, but I though Jason was a very close second tonight (Fri 20th)...also pleased I got to see Mawaan as the Narrator, as he isn't on the national tour
