Damn, I remember those graphics that SportsSouth used back then, as the Braves were a mainstay in our house when I was growing up. I'm certain I can also remember seeing ads for the Thrashers around this time "in the fight for the Stanley Cup!" and of course, 8 year me who knew nothing about hockey, thought the Thrashers logo _was_ the Stanley Cup itself. Good times!

So I was not yet born for any of the Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup wins, but I am a Red Wings fan and I would just love to see my city win one for my lifetime but sadly it doesn’t seem like we’ll be doing that in the future but when I watched the game over againI just sat there watching I for sure. Thought the Red Wings had lost cause Pittsburgh scored another goal and it was 32 and I saw them win and yeah I I didn’t know why they were celebrating at the time because I was like too but yeah thank you

For so long the Staples Center has had the joy of the Lakers hoisting the Larry O’Brian Trophy at home, but they had not left the thrill of their hockey team win the Stanley Cup. 2012 was finally the year Los Angeles won its first Stanley Cup and what better way to do it than in their home.

Gotta love when officials make sure to take away a last minute scoring chance with a phantom hand pass call. Now that that is a reviewable play I hope now they keep there whistles in their pocket unless they actually see a hand pass not because an opposing player yells it.
