To everyone coming here YES spacers works ( i used the angled ones , golden copper color) Im in california Yes I passed smog with it I have an old -aftermarket- catalytic that doesnt perfome as new...i had a p0420 code . the solution should be a new catalytic... I needed to pass the smog. I installed a spacer And passed the smog The key of success are in the drive cycle Get a cheap obd2 readee that show you when the car ready for smog , or when the " readiness monitor " are ok They go get the smog asap

Can you keep using it after the subscription expires? I mean if it is, for example, year 2024 now, though your subscription expired 2023, will it lose its functionality? On other words, can you still do coding, resetting, Etc. from 2023 and down to more previous years? Thank you

How do you diagnose on the screen? I've reset my daughter's dash lights and they keep coming back on. No brake trouble or low fluid.

@@RealNoor hey man. I thought you were referring to the screen in the car. I ordered a USB OBD2 adapter so o can try techstream. I read the abs codes from the flashing lights and attempted to recalibrate the linear solenoid valve offset. No luck though. Hopefully I can redo the full Toyota bleed procedure with my laptop when it arrives. The pedal trick definitely clears the abs codes. The valve offset code just comes back immediately. There's a manual way to start the calibration procedure by jumping pins 4 and 12 instead of 4 and 13 and putting the car into "on" but not "ready" while not touching the brakes or anything else and with the steering wheel perfectly centered. This process failed on my car though.

@@ahdziz666 I know the bottle neck in that pre=ocess of jumping Pin 4 to 13 is the dead center setting requirement for the steering. Let me know how it does once you get do the bleed process with techsteam.

You will find it named as AC Service valve. If you mean the name of the tool , it is just AC Valve Core tool or AC Valve core remover. Glad I could help. Thank you.

Hello, question. How can you get the dash lights to light up if you dont have a key, that is already programed to the vehicle? You see when u plug the scanner to the odb2, you go to immobilizer, the scanner asks you to turn the switch to the on position, but how can you get the switch to the on position without a key? Thanks

If you have a good battery, you should be able to get the dash to come on after OBD is connected and it prompts you to switch ignition and off by just pressing the power button.

There are two independent cooling systems on your car: the engine and the inverter control unit (ICU). The small bleed valve in front of the ICU is only for the ICU, not engine coolant.
