Many years ago I had a gelding who was by an Arabian stallion out of a Quarterhorse mare. Absolutely the best most versitile horse I ever had . He loved into his late 20s

I thought the Amur, the Siberian and the Manchurian tiger were all the same animal. It's just different connected regions across the North of Eurasia. Extinct Caspian tiger was however a different subspecies.

Technically speaking, the manchurian tiger, amur tiger, and siberian tiger are all the same, another name for Uncia tigris altaica would be "altai tiger", the caspian tiger is not only a different subspecies, but is also only distantly related to the siberian tiger, the caspian tiger (Uncia tigris virgata) is in fact the most basal of the twelve tiger subspecies, the siberian tiger (Uncia tigris altaica) is part of the Uncia tigris altaica group (Sinarctic Tigers), which does surprisingly group it with the South China Tiger (Uncia tigris amoyensis) and the †Wanhsien Tiger (Uncia tigris acutidens), the caspian tiger is considered the most basal of the twelve tiger subspecies as the tiger (Uncia tigris) originated exclusively from Western Asia.

Perhaps subtitles would be of help? I believe there are some sounds that if we don't use them in " our" language they are very difficult to pronounce? Thank you
