Do you utilise the Next Opponent information in Data Hub? I have great success in almost every match by adjusting set pieces and the team specifically for next opponent. You can really create bigger versitility in your team by using this tab

It's not something I have had a look at actually, I tend to play a tactic and stick and build the team around it subject to quality and availability in the window 😁

It depends on the nature of the league you're in, at times you can find a way to push through but during this series I have also had to change to suit the positions I'm in

@@bigwill839 I’m also in the bundesliga first 17 games only lost once and very solid defensively and second half of season only won 5 games its complete night and day still finished 5th

@@neosgaming1 I always find the second half of the season tougher too for the most part, teams seem to have more to fight for in the latter part of the campaign! 5th is a good finish for testing in the Europa League!

Been playing my own save and went from motherwell where I returned them to Europe in my second season and did a cup double to go to Schalke got them promoted in my first season in the bundesliga trying to re establish Schalke just now to make them a consistent bundesliga team

@@bigwill839scottis leagues always fun I used to start with Albion rovers as closest team to where I stayed but decided since they’re not in the game this season to start with the team I support and move from there planned on staying in Scotland longer but Schalke and Crystal Palace came in for me and I thought I wouldn’t turn down either in real life so off I went. Ultimate aim is to win as many trophies as possible.

I think you should change your tactic to a more defensive one like a counter atacking tactic

Yeah I tried it with 5 at the back for a few games, unfortunately we had a lack of quality and pace on the counter and despite looking better defensively we still had the issue scoring 😫

Well you should maybe change the tactic to a 5-3-2 with a advanced forward and a deep-lying forward and the to wing back on attack and the midfielders a ball-wining midfielder, a box to box and either a playmaker or a defensive midfielder and for the cbs i suggest that they are either central defenders or ball playing defenders

If you get relegated you should stick with your atacking tactic and when you get promoted i suggest you play the first two seasons with a more defensive tactic

Bit of advice if you want it it’s what I’d do, Have you thought of changing the right side to have a winger on support instead of an IF with an attacking rwb Also change biereth from a pressing forward to maybe a advanced forward. Also left sided if should be on attack instruction. I think it’d help also to not have a ball playing defender for a team at this level of the division keep everything as simple as possible also AM should be on support we want him finding the IF or striker or winger and creating more than shooting

Some set piece thoughts. Make sure you have defend corners as your set piece option before every game. Make sure your non-zonal defenders are all marking, rather then just "back". Get your coach with the highest set piece stars on set pieces only in your training. Looking difficult though, I agree - here's looking for a miracle!
