That came up so fast! What's interesting, the chairs, table etc... on the deck all blew to the right. If you look over in the next yard, a cooler is blowing in the opposite direction.

It looks like this camera was on the SW edge of the tornado looking E/NE toward the other side of the tornado. So the winds at the camera's location were moving west to east (left to right). But on the other side of the tornadic circulation (neighbors yard) the winds were wrapping back East to West (Right to left). A very good demonstration of the rotating winds.

@@weathermanofthenorth1547 Bull. Lazy, irresponsible, ignored warnings more likely. Put the stuff in the house, cable it to underneath the deck so it isn't weaponized by the wind. Lucky it didn't all fly into windows or cars.

@@DByers-ci5kr You do realize that not everyone has the means to secure their stuff, right? Not everyone has cables, not everyone has decks, in some cases, there's literally NOWHERE to put them, other than maybe right along the house. Sure, were these people lazy? Maybe. But we'll never know for sure.

How does the pressure inside the house increase? Do you have any clue what you are talking about?
@ccashmere
@ccashmere 3 жыл бұрын
When the large window on the upper floor gets blown into the hose the 110MPH wind enters the home increasing the air pressure in the house. The lower floor window was a weak point for the air rushing in to escape, my guess is that window was probably only held in by the nailing flange. You can see the curtains and what seems to be a lamp get blown out of the lower window as the accumulated air rushes out.

When a tornado is present, it can cause increased pressure inside of a structure by way of the sudden and dramatic drop in air pressure outside the structure.

If you watch down by the bottom right, at 00:29 just to the left of the word 'Camera', a bright object, brighter than anything else seen during the entire clip, comes zooming into frame, and zips out in less than a second. I wonder what that was. Hot ash? Lightning ember? Wild.
@imhooks
@imhooks 2 жыл бұрын
What's even crazier is if you go frame by frame (comma and period) on the keyboard. You can see it hits the top of the metal downspout and get's brighter before bouncing off and dissipating. I was thinking it is possibly a spark from the service connection breaking at the house or a nearby transformer. But not real sure.
