Propaganda, and twisting the ideals of Christ
@ApothicScaler233 күн бұрын
Let me ask you something is this quote from the bible twisting Christ's ideals Matthew 22:21 Jesus said "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's." Romans 13:1 "Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God and those which exist are established by God." Matthew 19:24 Jesus said, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God". This statement is a warning about the danger of being rich, not just of wanting to be rich. Jesus seems to support the authority of the state to tax people. So the Christians here saying that Jesus is opposed to centralized authority, or that he would oppose taxation, doesn't seem to fit. The question is what the state does with those taxes. I think a strong argument could be made that Jesus would vote to use those taxes to educate, clothe, house, and provide health care for people of all stations. If people here view that perspective as being a socialist politically (arguable) then I think Jesus would be a socialist.

She definitely is. Do you have young children with delays?
@songbirds37125 ай бұрын
@@peachykitten3402 I do not. Though my husband and I successfully taught our boys throughout their childhood years and therefore they were academically and socially ready for Kindergarten. After our boys were through 7th and 5th grades respectively I went back to teaching preschool. I was shocked at the # of shildren who were unable to handle base skills…tying shoe laces, sit criss-cross applesauce for 5 minutes, do on/off their jackets, sweater etc, sit at the table for lunch and not whine or play with food, eat using appropriate utensils, etc!! Circle time was not used formally for the first 4 weeks. Academics were worked into all these social skills but it was a blessing to actually do a 10min circle time, followed by story time. I really don’t understand the parent who drops off her kids at preschool, then meets her friends for day at the pool, or a shopping day, or a home day, just relaxing in the quiet of their home.🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Be a parent to your children. You can teach them more than you realize!

I'm glad for her show. My son also has severe speech delay and I learned about her show through some friends. I'm so glad I did. When we switched from mostly Cocomelon during screen time to mostly MS. Rachel... My partner and I started learning more sign language and ways to show him where sounds were coming from. His speech has improved a lot with this show and Early Intervention. He especially responds well to Music Therapy. Plus, he learned to sign...even he 'mispronounces' some signs. It's truly revolutionary. I'm grateful that we live in MA so we have Early Intervention in addition to Ms. Rachel and have had since his cleft palate repair. These service providers and a few days of daycare have made all of our lives easier. I wish we were all living in states that prioritize Early Intervention and Early Childhood Education. Our country would be better for it. It's one of the reasons we're committed to staying in MA with our son, even though it's hard living away from family. Early Intervention is not prioritized in my home state...my friends daughter had to wait until she was old enough to attend kindergarten to learn how to tackle her speech delay. That's too late. I recently listened to a DOE discussion about Kindergarten Readiness, even though I am not a teacher. In that call the teachers were saying that if your child is not ready for Kindergarten they will not catch up to their peers until they are approximately 11 years old. That's middle school folks... We need to do better. Being able to speak is important for learning the world around us.
