Their are some Types of trees than not just survive in or around salt water but thrive. Like Mangrove Trees, of which we have manly 4 species in Trinidad. The Icaco Tree Locally Called Fat Pork, and The Indian Almond.

I'm sure I saw this beetle in 1982 in Trinidad I couldn't believe the size of it. I thought it was a cockroach because it had been squashed it was the size of a small bird.
