Ewald describes the song as a eulogy for the change that never came, reflecting on ten years of thinking a different life was just around the corner. The song captures themes of fear, gratitude, acceptance, and growth, tying together the band's experiences and the realization that being a career musician was their path

does anyone know why he's taken down the svengali alternate recordings ep from streaming? loved those takes so much, now they're out of reach. wish i'd found a way to get a physical copy or something at least.

November 2024 and still brings back great memories from highschool, never will get that time back but I sure can feel the nostalgia in this song forever and feel like I did back then before adult life hit 💜

There’s something about Mo’s sound that nails that classic 60s pop but also sounds so modern

im glad we happened when we did. and im glad it didnt work out. we both liked eachother so much but she was so scared of commitment and i was seeking that out. i hope she’s doing as well as a person can be. she taught me after a bad breakup that i could still feel love to people, but more importantly that i was capable of having that reciprocated. its been almost a year, and i moved on pretty quick when i realized it wasnt going anywhere. i met my now boyfriend at the time, and i owe it to her showing me i could be loved to accept him into my life. Suni, if you ever see this, thank you. Thank you for what you meant to me for that fall, and thank you for showing me i could be loved after the world had said i couldnt. I hope youre having a good day, ans have an even better life, wether im in it or not.
