tas means "tool assisted speedrun" basically you run the game 1 frame, do the input and then you go to the next frame and repeat that process. when the run is done, the viewer sees the sped up end result

@@Doxxtrain also you can manipulate RNG in a TAS. every TAS can have "perfect" RNG, so this just makes no sense. the point of a TAS is that it's perfect luck and execution.

@@tetrisbit The main thing that makes me question how much they did that is “wouldn’t it be faster to have all of Know Cone’s attacks be the fast cherry?” Also watching Shayy speedrun genocide he doesn’t like it when Dunebud uses the sand castle attack, but it appeared a few times in this TAS as well. Let alone Tele-Vis’s “I hate reruns” attack

@@Voidbear_FNaF_and_Undertale the TAS is only as good as the TASer wants it to be. perhaps some things would be too time-consuming to manip, or would make other things get changed, or were not actually any faster because of how long it'd take to manip - though i doubt that one, etc - and so, for the sake of the sanity of the TASer, were left out. for example, if the fast cherry attack is 5 frames faster than the one they got (it's probably higher but for example), and it took a frame to manip - then that'd be worth it. but if it made other things get changed along the way (not familiar enough with UTY to give examples but i assume step count?), which would be 5 frames slower - and those can't really be manipped easily - it'd be a net negative.

Ngl Susie and noelle are kinda bad people in this game’s oblit route. Why don’t they just refuse to fight every turn? All they do is refuse barely any times, use a red buster that makes you reload your save file, throw away a branch, not smile when walking around outside of battle, and say they don’t wanna play uno. They aren’t directly connected to the red soul so if they uh… oofed themselves on their own accord and left Kris alone, they wouldn’t murder a ton of people. At least Kris has an excuse. They’re actually controlled. Susie and Noelle are just selfish killers, even if us, the players, chose that route of the fangame. Susie even tries to pretend everything is normal when the three are leaving earthbound and is not sad or angry, but of all things, annoyed by the enemies in section 3, showing that she has zero regard for people’s lives if she isn’t remotely close to them. I HATE THEM.

that still doesn't mean they're good though. they didn't refuse every time before they knew about us. also they still killed dozens of innocent monsters, a less innocent flower, some plants and robots, a perfectly good snake, humans, innocent animals, children, some slightly less innocent monsters and one last innocent mole that made his way to snowdin somehow (probably the mole that followed you in pacifist in section 2 for the egg). they're just being kinda selfish by the time they know what's going on because they keep on murdering. i calculated it and they killed ALMOST 170 people. that cannot be an accident. last time i checked, 170 is more lives than 3. they know EXACTLY what they're doing. if i were susie or noelle, i would simply refuse to fight and... leave the party i guess. maybe follow them so i can go back home but not help them.@@themeta4064
