This song reminds of being poor AF in Gary, Indiana…we had nothin…no hope and no one was coming to help us… when we had power my Mom would play this and we’d all dance, sing and for a brief period of time forget about being cold, hungry and scared. I’m far removed from that state of being but hearing this song take me back those times and I catch myself tearing up…I made it Mom….you’d be proud of your boy ❤️
