This definitely reminds me of that song, 'Moments In Love Quiet Storm Version' by the Art Of Noise a little bit but toned differently. #Vibes⏫

Sounds like 1984 produced in 1987, remade in 1992, still sounds as if it was released in 2020! This is one of many sides of Chicago House Music VERY influenced by early 80's European electronic dance music/Italo Disco.
@lovelyerin93143 жыл бұрын
No. Leary Mr. Fingers Heard has songs from the late 1970's/early 1980's that sound just like this. Maybe he inspired Europe. After all, the house and disco sounds were created in urban u.s.a.
@Milofchg3 жыл бұрын
@@lovelyerin9314 I'm very sure Chicago music inspired European artists as well. No doubt about it. One thing is for sure Chicago in the early 80's went more European electronic/Italo Disco. Funk R&B Rap/Hip Hop were played but not as much as faster more danceable Euro music. It was a great time for music in Chicago at the time. Dance music was really underground and not heard outside Black/Latino/Gay communities. At the same time there was Industrial/Post Punk music released and distributed by Wax Trax Records. That was the other half of Chicago 80's dance music that's not really talked about. I've heard some demo tapes played at Imports Etc Chicago in 1983, and I have a few test pressings by Larry Heard/Mr Fingers that were never available on vinyl outside Chicago mid 80's. If you were anywhere between 13-33 in 1982/83 Gay Latino Black or a Northside alternative post punk kid. You heard the best of all worlds in electronic music before people in other major cities.

Larry Heard didn't create house.

Lol people try so hard. Larry Heards music sounds like nothing else. If he was inspired by "European House" or whatever, he surpassed them. 👍🏿
