Why does God create the “evil” for these people? (Isaiah 45:7): When you look at the world, people are *boldly* going against God in every way. They completely disregard Him and actively try to enforce laws that are anti-God. The minds of man are twisted, believing that God is with them even as they defy His truth. God will continue to send the natural “disasters”-the hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, etc.-as a way to warn people that everything He has given us, He can take it away within an instant and we are absolutely powerless to do anything about it. Instead, man will then run to Him and say “let us pray” only when times are bad, yet never bother to get to know Him in times of peace. God will not hear their prayers, for their mouths and hearts are stricken with cursing, bitterness, hatred, and slander. They must truly repent of their sins; only then will He listen to their prayers. Until then, God will reveal His wrath in order to save us. Repent, and be forgiven.

A HOMILY ON HOLY SATURDAY THE LORD DESCENDS INTO HELL Something strange is happening-there is a great silence on earth today, a great silence and stillness. The whole earth keeps silence because the King is asleep. The earth trembled and is still because God has fallen asleep in the flesh and He has raised up all who have slept ever since the world began. God has died in the flesh and hell trembles with fear. He has gone to search for our first parent, as for a lost sheep.
