Yeah it was heaps fun to ride. Must have passed it plenty of times without noticing while I was in that town then one day it just stood out.

was gonna make fun of the height, but hey if it's fun to you I don't wanna ruin it
@dirtboarder1005 ай бұрын
Yeah it feels bigger than it looks lol. I've only tried getting air on a few rides so you know, gotta start somewhere. It's a heavy board too, 30kg. Heel straps will help as well. I've got some but haven't got around to putting them on yet. Also good too have memories/comparisons to look back on as the journey continues...

@@dirtboarder100 I know man I'm in my 30s now and the last time I jumped on my MTB it probably was a similar height and pace lol

The straps were included as part of the whole package in the original price. They do sell them separately though. Currently $79USD a pair.

would be good to have the actual audio from you riding and just have the music quieter in the background. cool video though

Sand and salt water are brutal on components. Once of the worst environments for bearings, gears, belts and bushings. How did the board hold up? Have you see rust showing up on bearings?
@dirtboarder10011 ай бұрын
I've ridden this board on the beach several times over the last couple of months . Also ridden dusty bush tracks heaps. The board is holding up very well so far. There are no visible signs of rust or corrosion. The gear drive is still performing as per normal. I am planning to do a full strip down and clean of the board in the next couple of weeks which will include cleaning and greasing the gear drive. I will do a video to show what I find.
