Bellísimo!! Las escuchaba a diario, a las 18:00 PM en Mannheim. Jamás olvidare el llamado a misa. Si alguien me puede regalar el sonido de estás campanas para instalarlo en mi Cell se lo agradeceré.

Zu sehen sind die ersten 6 von insgesamt 8 Glocken die im Turm 1 hängen. Glocke 5 überlebte als einzige den Großbrand in den 40ger Jahren. Alle anderen wurde durch Neue Glocken ersetzt. Das daraus entstandene Klangbild soll das schönste in der gesamten Kurpfalz sein.

Danke fuer's tolle Video! Bin seit 13 Jahren in San Francisco - Dank KZbin ist der Weg in die alte Heimat / Geburts und Heimat Stadt, doch nicht so weit weg. - Trotzdem, ich vermisse manches (wie z.B. die schoenen Heimat Glocken) hin und wider sehr!! -

Schönes Video ! Wie kommt man auf einen Glockenturm ? Wahrscheinlich über eine Treppe , aber wen fragt man vorher ? ..und wieviel Gehörschutz braucht man ? Gruss Michael

There is very little comparison to be made the G° Bell at the Freiburger Münster and this G° Bell at Mannheim because the Mannheimer Bourdon Bell is 2000 kg lighter, having been cast in a very special LIGHT profile!!!

soweit ich weis hatt nur die größte Glocke der Jesuitenkirche einen namen. Alle anderen habe solche bezeichnungen wie Angelusglocke oder Todesglocke usw kenne sie leider nicht alle auswendig. Die Größte Glocke ist die St. Michaels Glocke. Diese ist auf diesem Video aber nicht zu sehen sondern auf dem Jesuitenkirche in Mannheim 2 Video.

What's really amazing is to see the ringing machines for the bottom bells c1 and es1 situated way above and over the two top bells! Geil!!!

The F. W. Schilling bells form a magnificent peal of G° B° c1 es1 f1 g1 b1 c2. The Bourdon Bell is of a special lightweight profile at 4935 kg. Great video!

Five of the bells are from the legendary bellmaker F. W. Schilling (1956). The c1 bell had been acclaimed by bell expert Hans Rolli as a masterpiece of sound. The es1 bell is a historic bell cast by Steiger in 1754. The two smallest bells arrived in 1975 from the Heidelberger Glockengiesserei, four years after FWS' untimely death. Marvellous video!!! Awesome view of the bells!
