How much more stress does it cause the axles when it's riden aggressively
@Southern-Offroad
@Southern-Offroad 2 күн бұрын
It is hard to gauge how much stress is added with the larger tire. We know of several CF riders running 35" Roxxzillas on their 950s. It all depends on how hard you are on the machine. If you plan on being hard on the machine and "rock bouncing" then I would stick with 32" tires

Yes, sir, the CV joins and Tie Roid angles would be awesome. I would love to do a level on my gmc 2500 , 2024. But I was worried about the angles ! Also does the tire hit the frame at full turn with the 37/11.5?

@@2010joshh1 Each truck varies depending on the OEM wheel we have seen a few make minor contact with the frame. I may try and make a video with a stock truck and put an angle finder on the CVs and tie rod ends then to the leveling kit and compare the differences.

MAN ! That would be great. It will help me any many more on a leving are a full lift. If the angles are ok are pretty good I would jump right on the leving. I really don't want to put a full 4in on mine. I have to work mine and climb in and out of it all day!

Damn, one of the best segue villain videos I've seen on KZbin no shit! I got the 64-in version wish I could have got this 72 but I was worried about fitting in my local trails here in the northwest. You might want to take your front sway bar off and put limit straps I see your front suspension needs to articulate a little bit better but other than that that villain did really really good and at 9 minutes and 45 seconds that's a tough trail I've seen many built side by sides have an issue with that trail.. I really like the Segway villains they look great a lot of amenities super comfortable handles excellent but damn, not much power. I installed RJWC exhaust power tune power intake trail clutch kit currently run 32-in ATV warrior tires and I'm sorry but it's kind of a dog especially in high gear, low gear works but man, needs more power!

did it change the ride quality any
@Southern-Offroad
@Southern-Offroad Ай бұрын
Short answer Yes/No. Ride quality is subjective. One person may hate the way the truck rides stock but love it when it's leveled and vice versa. Here is the biggest difference in the Cognito kit vs others. Cognito allows for the proper amount of droop travel which in turn has the best overall ride. Some of the other kits don't address the droop travel and the upper arm slams into the droop stop making a banging noise and causing the truck to ride terrible. If you follow the Cognito guidelines in our opinion this is the best riding "Leveled" set up out there. We have a lot of positive feedback on this set up. We have never had to take on off because the customer was unhappy with the ride. We have taken other brands and other set ups off in favor of the Cognito set up.

Trimming???
@Southern-Offroad
@Southern-Offroad Ай бұрын
Slight trimming. It is minimal with the 37x11.50R20 and factory wheels. We also like to use the Westcott Designs fender pin back kit for a clean look. If you are interested in getting this done we can help you out or ship you parts. We are located in central Alabama.

@Southern-Offroad

🤣 Thanks we just filmed what we could. We were riding in east Alabama which is the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. I've had the opportunity to wheel out west in full size rigs and its completely different than the east coast. Our trails get wet quick and the trees add another level of difficulty. Don't get me wrong each style of terrain has it's own challenges. The area where you are riding is gorgeous! We don't get those view here.

Get the one that has 3 u-joints not 2. That way the angel isn't so extreme. Otherwise you just blow you joints every other year. It definitely helps with the clearance issue too. Big difference when you put an aftermarket shaft. I never had that problem again.

You didn’t answer it. Some lift kits come with lowers that don’t adjust but have been built for the kits. So technically you don’t need adjustable if you buy a complete kit.
@Southern-Offroad
@Southern-Offroad Ай бұрын
You need some form of caster correction with any Jeep suspension lift even the small kits (2" and above) We strongly recommend adjustable arms as it allows you to properly dial in the alignment and hit the ideal caster setting for your setup. Some kits that come with fixed arms or geometry correction brackets still do not have the correct amount of caster and can cause drivability issues.
@GoneAgain-Outdoors
@GoneAgain-Outdoors Ай бұрын
@@Southern-Offroad that doesn’t apply to every kit.
@Southern-Offroad
@Southern-Offroad Ай бұрын
@@GoneAgain-Outdoors Right. For instance the kits that come with adjustable arms. In our experience any other caster correction method (cams, correction brackets, fixed arms) do not get the caster where it needs to be. I even tested several of the Mopar fixed arms in the Mopar lift and they still lacked caster.
@GoneAgain-Outdoors
@GoneAgain-Outdoors Ай бұрын
@@Southern-Offroad call JKS and tell them that. I guess all of us with those kits are just wrong.
@Southern-Offroad
@Southern-Offroad 28 күн бұрын
@@GoneAgain-Outdoors We are not saying you are wrong however the fixed arm only gives a fixed amount of caster change. For instance if we have a completely stock Wrangler that we throw a JKS fixed arm kit on and then install the same kit on a Wrangler with full armor, full width front bumper, winch, roof rack, cargo, etc that would essentially affect the ride height which in turn affects the caster so having a fixed arm in that scenario may leave you lacking for caster. An adjustable arm with plenty of adjustment will allow for more or less caster depending on how the Jeep drives. We have even found some wheel and tire combos like certain caster settings than other wheel tire combos but lots of variables there like offset, width, tire pressure etc. Circling back to our point with a fixed arm you get what you get in terms of caster change but with an adjustable arm you can truly dial it in.
