Dawg you should’ve told us you messed up before we copied everything and had to redo it

Nice video, thanks. I'm trying to make it work using a sloped glazing approach, but with a copied & pasted profile that circumvents the need for mullions. Getting close but not quite right, so far.

Thanks. Good luck on your approach. Email me your Revit model if you wish so I can study it. Thanks.

@DzanTa Thanks, I figured it out after trying a few things. Used a downloaded profile called Maxline-340 for sheeting named after South Australian architect, Max Pritchard.

@@DzanTa i have revit 2024 Also another problem is when i start drawing the model (physical model) no analytical members are created (when i go to analytical model view it's empty), i have to go to analyse tab and use analytical automation option. which is unlike all the videos ive seen on KZbin. is there a reason for that? when it doesn't create the analytical model by itself? sorry im really new to this software and im still learning. thanks.

How do you save the created palette ?
@DzanTa10 ай бұрын
The custom tool palette tab you create is by default, embedded within the tool palette's location within your computer. The dwg file you used that contains the blocks for that palette is the source file. As long as AutoCAD can locate that file, the blocks within that tool palette will work. The default location for the tool palettes is drive_letter:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD <release>\<version>\<language>\support. Hope this helps.

@DzanTa10 ай бұрын
By default, the entire model has to be linked in. You can then hide all objects except walls in the linked model. After this, right click the view to save it as a view template to apply to other views.

Thank you for your video! I have a question in regards it. I'm wondering if there is a plugin to manager the visibility graphics of multiple link at the same time?? For example. I work with multiple links(5 or 6) and I have to untick all the boxes in the visibility graphics on the annotation tab for every single view template that I use. It does take a lot of time doing that. Therefore, I'm wondering if there is a plugin which I can achieve that quickly.
